In Missouri and Kansas there is NO current license for home or commercial inspectors.
Unfortunately many inspectors you encounter have NO formal training or education that gives them the knowledge, experience or training to inspect the most EXPENSIVE investment that most peoples ever make ….. Their Home.
OR any so-called training these “MAKE-BELIEVE” inspectors have, was gained by watching a short “How To” webinar on their computer AND calling themselves “CERTIFIED”, with no construction, building, remodeling or engineering experience.
Instead of shopping for the most qualified and experienced inspector, some naïve home buyers OR real estate agents choose an inspector based on who was CHEAPEST. When that happens they often get exactly what they paid for ….. ALMOST NOTHING.
Our Senior Inspector (Dan Bowers) has taken the time and dedication it takes to earn certification, education and licenses in almost every aspect of the inspection profession and is part of a select group of individuals nationwide who have chosen to attain the high level of excellence and achievement validated through the certification process.
Professional credentialing is an expensive and distinguished pursuit among those aspiring to demonstrate their capabilities AND expand their knowledge in their chosen profession to better help their clients. In 2017 Dan Bowers was inducted into the national “Home Inspectors Hall-of-Fame” of which there are only 23 members. In addition to demonstrating up-to-date knowledge in given areas of construction, codes, inspection issues, etc, certification provides evidence for clients, real estate agents, lenders, etc that the individual is a respected, experienced professional.
When shopping for an inspector, Compare Dan’s credentials to the others…..
